What to Expect

Restoring Eden is preparing our website for the 2026 Dahlia Tuber Sale. This is an exciting year for us as we release SEVEN original dahlias along with over 180 other varieties grown right here in Michigan. Delivery will begin on or near April 1st, 2026, as soon as weather permits.

❋ Grand Opening Time

We will begin the sale promptly at 8:30pm EST. We have a wonderful range of dahlias, and hope that you will take the time to shop our collection for your own farms or gardens in the coming year. The website preview will be open beginning Wednesday evening, and email to follow.

❋ Collections

We will have an assortment of fun collections available beginning that evening, as we have in years past. These are for all growers and will include some RE originals, in addition to our full catalog of Michigan-grown dahlias.

❋ Flower Seeds

This year, we will also have flower seeds available, including some Restoring Eden blends of Zinnias, Celosia, and Sunflowers.

These will be shipped in tandem with your dahlia tubers on April 1st, 2026.

❋ Giveaways

This year, we will give away tubers and prizes to one lucky shopper each day of the sale. This could be your chance to win tubers, tools, and more.

❋ A Supportive Space for Michigan Growers

In our efforts to support our region, we incorporate some tubers from local trusted growers who have worked with Restoring Eden in the past. And this year, that includes the joint introduction of Cornel Confetti to the world, a soon-to-be-released 7th-year sport of Cornel. And yes, we will be restocking some tubers for this growing season.

❋ The Golden Ticket

Restoring Eden was the first farm to implement the golden ticket idea years ago, and we’re bringing it back: one lucky person will have the opportunity to shop our sale one full day early.

FAQ

  • There are seven original varieties that were first offered in a pre-sale from October 2-6, 2025. The varieties are Wondermore, Pinky Promise, Cornel Confetti, Morning Mercy, Bee Brave, Redemption, and Crown Jewel.

    These new releases are still bound to the rule of LIMIT ONE per person, household, or farm. If you choose the collection, that is your one per person, household, or farm purchase.

    Note: Some of our other varieties which don’t have high stock or are of high competition, may have limits as well. Thank you.

  • Shipping for dahlia tubers and flower seed packets will begin on March 30th. (Weather permitting) Cost is a flat rate and is listed below.

    Dahlia Tubers Flat Rate ($17.95): Your shipping charge will not change whether you order one tuber or 50. These packages will be shipped via USPS or UPS to anywhere in the continental United States.

    Cold Climate ($26.95): This rate includes flat-rate shipping plus a 72-hour heat pack. As we begin shipping on March 30th, 2026, some of you may want the added security of a heat pack to ensure your Dahlia mail arrives safely. If you desire that protection, please select this option at checkout.

    Alaska/Hawaii ($39.95): We learned the upcharge for quick and safe shipping to Alaska and Hawaii was considerable. And even though we're still taking a minor hit, you matter to us. Heat pack included, if necessary.

  • Yes, we will combine dahlia tuber orders and this includes orders that were made in October at the RE Originals sale.

    While combining orders can be a logistical nightmare, shipping is becoming an expense we want you to take full advantage of. This allows our customers to return at a more relaxed pace without incurring the repeated full flat-rate shipping fees on every order.

    Please note that if you place a repeat order for tubers, you will need to select the “combined order box” during checkout. By checking this box, you acknowledge that you have already placed at least one order for tubers for Spring 2026 shipping.

    You will be charged the full shipping cost at the time of purchase. However, as we begin processing orders, we will refund the repeated shipping cost, minus a $4.95 handling and processing fee, before your first order of the season is shipped on April 1st. This will ensure that our team files all the correct paperwork and combines orders appropriately for shipping.

    SEED ONLY ORDERS: If you are ordering only flower seeds, you will be refunded $10 for access shipping later.

  • FLOWER SEEDS: This year's sale features a selection of high-quality seeds to enhance the beauty of any garden. I have and continue to use these seeds, including Celosia, Cosmos, Zinnia, Strawflowers, Herbs, Sunflowers, and more.

    This will also include our very own open pollination collections of zinnias, sunflowers, and celosia.

    DAHLIA SEEDS: We will have a selection of hand-gathered seed from specific parent plants, in addition to general seed from the entire range of what we grow at Restoring Eden. We will also have a limited supply of Dahlia seeds from last season, available at a discounted rate.
