The story

"Now the Lord God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden; and there he put the man he had formed. The Lord God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground - trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food." Genesis 2:8.

Before other shrubs appeared, God created a garden for humankind’s first home. Flowers, trees, plants, and shrubs all impact us. Scientific studies show a profoundly positive impact on humans around flowers and plants, both physically and mentally, psychologically, and emotionally. So, what better place to call home for the first humans on Earth than a garden.

In this 21st century on our planet, many have walked away from the traditions of old. Now, magnificent gardens are only found in faraway castles, botanical gardens, and getaway resorts. But, there is something of our origins discovered in the garden; there is more for us there.

So many joys come from taking the time to care for the spaces we've been given and to sow into the lives of others. So, Restoring Eden serves as a place to gain inspiration, ideas, and knowledge, as well as access to some incredible flowers and plants along the way.

We will dream together about beautifying the world around us and see where this goes.
